I think the new accounting firm has a REAL MESS to clean up. They may have had to go back a couple of years to get the books/financial's straightened out. For the symbol change - I pointed out before you got here that the company chose a ticker symbol that was already in use - even though it was with a defunct company, they still would need to get the symbol released. Not too smart - but then again, the new company has NO IDEA how to be a publicly traded company. My bet - they do go back private - as you mentioned a possibility of. I'm sure by now that Nancy is really frustrated by what she got herself into. Robby boy may have screwed her in more ways than we know. Definitely left her holding the IONIC bag.
