2C3, which we have under license, blocks only VEFGR-2. This seems to be the preferred way to go. Do we have any knowledge on the subject of revascularization, or not, after treatment with 2C3?

Jazz, I can see this regrowth of blood vessels as a problem when using Avastin. Soon after you stop the therapy blood vessels reestablish themselves.

And here is a major advantage of using bavituximab; first it cuts off blood vessels and blood supply to the tumors, and then, importantly, it sets up an adaptive immune recognition of PS exposing endothelial cells.

I am really looking forward to more analysis of the adaptive immune response with bavituximab.

here's the reprint pdf (with pics) of the vascular regrowth article I posted yesterday -
(those tumor vessels sure do grow back fast).

BTW - the anti-VEGFr2 for the studies was kindly supplied by Thorpe & Brekken.
