Sorry about their luck. They chose the college they chose the degree. They knew the cost upfront.

Now it’s time to pay it back. It’s a good political move though.

Furthermore it does nothing to solve the problem.

Stop attending these high priced colleges if you can’t afford it and either don’t go to college or go to a community college.
