The Cardiac arrhythmia side effect of (5 out of 35 or 14%) in patients who are already obese is the most concerning side effect. The GI tolerability may be able to be managed and tolerated for a short time.
The Thyroid cancer risk seems small and may be less of a concern than the the long term obesity risks. Not sure what to think of the potential intestinal obstruction which also appears to be a very long term effect.
