Do you know who Kenneth Eade is? He is or was a lawyer representing some clients involved in penny stocks. Pretty questionable companies, and Eade made some filings that were... not up to par.
When a number of IHubbers pointed that out, he went berserk. He decided to sue, and did so, thinking it was smart to include IHub itself in his action. That was not smart at all; IHub filed an anti-SLAPP motion, and won it, though that took some time. What's taken much more time is for Eade to pay the attorneys' fees he owes IHub.
But the reason I'm telling this story is that along the way, he tried to identify the ordinary posters he sued, since IHub refused to give him any useful information. So what did he do? He asked other message board posters to give him our names. He in fact offered $100 for every reply. And he ended up actually BELIEVING the information he got, and serving two people who had nothing to do with him or his idiotic suit.
The people angriest at "bashers" clearly know the least about them.
