Off Wall Street has initiated a short recommendation for Plug Power (NASDAQ: PLUG) with a price target of $2.35, which represents a nearly 75% downside from current trading levels.

OWS believes that PLUG is a misunderstood business with accounting issues and "pie-in-the-sky" projections that frequently disappoint. They believe that PLUG will be bankrupt within the next year.
