It will get flushed down the sewer anyway if it is a bad company. Short selling is immoral and is plain manipulation. Can I short sell your automobile.? Let supply and demand do the valuations. Any agrument for short selling is a con game. Short sellers are corrupt human beings, especially because the rightful owner of the stock has no say about what happens with his/her investment.
