The American companies Regreen and Astra sign an agreement with the Inclusive Mayor's Office of Penonomé.
It is the first time that both companies have signed an agreement with a Latin American Mayor's Office.
For the first time in Panama and Latin America, a Mayor's Office signs an agreement with private companies in the United States to transform garbage into clean energy.
The companies Regreen and Astra decided on the Mayor's Office of Penonomé after investigating the working methods of countless local governments in the region, which included a due diligence process, to validate the way of working, cases of corruption and the transparency of the mayor's management.
The Regreen total waste system is a patented series of equipment and processes with specialized technology to convert any solid waste material into a marketable product through the cleanest measures, which will make it possible to turn the landfill into a sustainable development program for our community and the country.
Our strategic allies seek to develop a circular economy model for waste management, new and first of its kind in Panama.
The technology that the Regreen company brings to Panama is used by the five largest garbage dumps in the United States, turning waste management into sustainable waste management without causing damage to the environment.
The process that our strategic allies will carry out will not emit any type of polluting gas, the discharges of the system are reused as fuel to operate the machines and the technology that facilitates the reduction of waste.
