Why would the judge who will rule on the case be in the dark about the settlement talks, that makes no sense. The magistrate is just assisting the judge with some of these procedures but Donato is informed through the magistrate.

Yes but that filing was from Judge Donato, so i think hes saying he wants the parties to give Demarchi a final report by the 25th, because unless theres been a settlement agreed he has other plans...

To me it doesn't smell promising...

How can you tell how it smells there’s not enough info to go by! And what other plans does he have. If your reading a different filing then me please share what his other plans are and post the filing.
