Well as you know it used to be done here before the Mobile mods were done and I've read here that many other members miss it...it was useful.

BTW you had me on: "Are posts "numbered" on Twitter? No."

What purpose does it serve, to number a post, such as iHub does?

Good point. However, every one of the social sites are now designed NOT to retain a thing. Because that matches those users attention span.

However with a financial website that Ihub claims to be, people that own stock and seek questions and answers actually need to retain information and be able to find said information, not take away abilities to do so.

I appreciate that Ihub has allowed the desktop version to function as well as it does presently, but with financial information I constantly save direct links, images and other data that one can not do on social sites. I also save information off site on my system. There was quite a bit of latitude and tricks in saving and finding info on your site. That's slowly being stripped to match the user unfriendly social site structures.

Hopefully, ihub won't drop the desktop platform completely.

This actually brought up another thought about going to mobile platform.
And no, it didn't hurt.

Does using the app save on ihub/advfn server space because some of the data retention features that we have taken for granted for so long such as image gallery in the future will be limited or eliminated in the future?

I don't see how a social app could have all the stock 'mark me' and 'follow' and 'my stock' amongst many things we have on desktop and ihub servers could still house all that. On stock boards there's all sorts of retention there about stock stuff.

Basically, does running a social app save on servers?
