"But when they pick favorites and let those chosen post anything they want about the company (like GVSI)" - I mean, in general, Users can pretty much post whatever they want about the company if it doesn't otherwise violate the TOS.

"then continue on a censored rampage in deleting posts that are by no interpretation Offensive or off topic, it’s wrong and unnecessary censorship." I am not speaking from a legal standpoint, but in general, I think "censorship" is about removing things someone disagrees with and allowing other opinions that agree with theirs. I could be wrong, but I think that's exactly what you were advocating for in your previous sentence - that opinions that were different than yours about the company should be removed.

The TOS doesn't work that way - it's about what the rules say. The rules say in it's very basic form "If your post is entirely about the company, whether positive, negative or neutral it's likely not a TOS violation".

So while a lot of Users feel like their posts are being removed because their opinion is different than the moderators of the board, they have recourse with Admin. They can report other people's posts that violate the TOS and they can request a review of their deleted posts. Admin reviews these reports - not board Moderators.

Users don't decide what's a TOS violation i.e. "are by no interpretation Offensive or off topic" - the TOS does. In a nutshell, live the commentary about other Users out of your posts and talk about the company. That's as basic as the TOS gets.

I'd agree with that.
