Any gigantic judgement will create a lot of buzz and no doubt the share price will rise, but it will be significantly tempered by the specter of a protracted appeal process that will significantly discount the price. In my mind the fastest way for all of us to have strong negotiable shares at price levels significantly above a dollar, that don't get hammered by a large investor wanting to exit, is if we can start getting multiple companies to agree to licensing and possibly some repayment of past infringement. THAT kind of arrangement is something that the market will be able to agree on valuation wise, while eliminating a lot of the speculative nature of "what might we win in court". Just my opinion, and it will require the company to be willing to put together an operation that is suited to that kind of business activity.
