it was also never stated that it WAS a good idea...probably because that would be taken as a positive...and we couldnt bear that...

but the implications that the RFI did not apply to kblb were plenty...as an example:

Nowhere in the RFI mention KBLB or Thompson. It mentions spider silk explicitly. KBLB does not make spider silk. They make chimeric silk.Too bad.

and what is the reason for believing that mass production in Vietnam is a criteria for funding when no such thing was stated in the RFI?...in fact, quite the opposite was stated...
