Well … I don’t have any grandkids and never will … so not me.
But yes back when Web 3 was being worked I was excited … along with all of us. Well times have certainly changed … I’m no longer a fan … fact.
Not that confusing… they made any investment in Web 3 worthless ($0 to be specific) and they have let the game remain broken for over 9 months. This is the one people put hundreds of thousands (not just me … lots of people …) of their own dollars in and initiated Microbuddies in 2021. Oh but then we find out their Web 3 is a “proof of concept” after the fact … not said up front. Not to mention all the people who bought this stock in at .15 or higher. So yeah … again not a fan of their plan or their stock management. No communication … no investor meetings … and no actual tangible marketing for all the money they spent in 2022. NOT A FAN … now you know.
Roblox was supposed to be a side deal and supposedly when this all started in 2021 this company was supposed to be cutting edge in Web 3 and blockchain, which they have essentially killed either through a lack of skill or incompetence.
Also, anyone who does the math on how Roblox pays will quickly realize there is not enough meat on the bone in Roblox to pay the company salaries. In addition it’s the entirely wrong audience for anyone in Web 3. No one on blockchain cares about Roblox as Roblox (and Microsoft as well) is essentially anti-blockchain as they want to keep everything in their own environment. If you don’t realize that then you are living in fantasy land.
The company wakes up and focuses on innovation and solutions that put ownership and control in the gamers on blockchain… well then I’ll go back to my hole.
