Best play was just holding GVSI and adding in the sub 1s.
And are you suggesting it is NEVER a "good play" to cut losses, at least when it comes to GS tickers? Or, for that matter, perhaps never taking profits but holding "long" for the merger is the best play of all no matter how long that might take? (IMO, money is the primary motive for most here but some folks crave ACTION/EXCITEMENT also and not many have been getting much of that in GS tickers of late. I mean, going to Las Vegas isn't just about the MONEY is it?)
Anyhow, it depends on the entry/exit points. And, looking at the chart below, the pps of $GVSI has been tanking since pink current so it certainly seems to me that the selling at around .015+ early/mid-March here enabled some to go elsewhere, then, possibly come back here and actually be better off now and having more shares then one previously had and at a much lower overall pps then they used to be in at. Possible? Yep. And I wonder how many are now kicking themselves for not selling on the news of $GVSI pink limited and/or pink current (the pps was around, what, .04 then?) as they could now buy back any sold shares at .01 and, last week, even @.0096!! So why wouldn't that have been a "good play"? And, thinking about it now, why wouldn't the selling at around .07 in Oct. 2021, before this went to the Expert Market, not have been a "good play"? And, not just that, but how is holding this for A YEAR OR TWO such good play when someone could get in TODAY (or lower even last couple weeks, possibly at sub-penny) and could be much better off?? (Oh, no long-term Capital Gains? The losses from the original buy-in? I just didn't care. But gambling can be quite profitable sometimes. ;-)).
Anyhow, I think you are assuming quite a bit. After all, what if any merger/acquisition that GS brings in here here isn't well received like the one at that other G ticker wasn't? What will happen to the $GVSI pps here then?
GVSI 3-MONTH CHART
Oh well, back to $GVSI and back to boring, for now at least. But love seeing the color GREEN for a change and that alone is worth something. ;-)
