I did go to Studio 54 in its first or second year. Can't remember. Was 19 in white tie and tails escorting a young Austrian Countess at the Waldorf Astoria for the International Debutante Ball. I thought we would never get into 54 but stupid me, it was one of those shi shi annual events and the girls had long flowing gowns and the boys tails. We pulled up to the club in NYC Yellow cabs and the doors opened wide. Was wild inside. Unisex bathrooms in 1978. Ha! Pretentious? Snobby? Sure but the booze flowed freely as did the girls. 18 was legal then not that it mattered. Tight ass white boy pretending he liked disco! But boy was it fun.
Now as far as your Frampton bro fest, saw him in 1976 at the old RFK Stadium. 12 hour concert. Gary Wright, Pousette Dart, Yes during the relayer period and Frampton closing it out. Whose wine? What wine? Why the hell did I die?
