GME is debt free but their balance sheet is still RED with losses due to not making enough profits from selling their profits. Their business plan is very weak and no match to AMC business plan and products AMC sells in the industry it is in. You see just paying off you debt does not scare away shorts. You have to look strong going forward which AA claims they are doung.
