The working class expanded as never before with unionization. Right to work has done as much or more to lower wages than unions have done to raise them.

The only serious attempts to mitigate the cyclical effects of capitalism have come from the Dem party with SS, unemployment insurance, Medicare/Medicaid/ACA and SNAP benefits.

The GOP never tires of trying to f'k with all of those, to this day.
