You can own a gun, this is America, you can own as many guns as you want. Some own 10, some a 100 guns, but weapons that are built to kill better than what American troops own.
I have shot many guns in my lifetime, I prefer my Walther PPK, it belonged to my father, he brought it back from World War II, my Baretta is a fine piece also, but then I was brought up in the day of James Bond.
I also love my Winchester Rifle, and when I look at it, it reminds me of hunting in the Adirondacks with friends. I could go on, but my weapons are dated, my old Ithaca shotgun, but it use to hurt my shoulder if you fired it too many times.
Again I am in my 70s, I see the newest guns and wonder why you need an AR15, I have handled it, but it is not for me. I am just tired of watching children go to school and wonder if they are coming home each day.
