Oh man, I love Disney too and not ashamed to admit it. Behind the scenes tours, seeing the cavernous underground and flying over the vast expanse in a helicopter asking the pilot, "what's that" and the pilot tells me "I don't know"....
I even still have little Mickey stuffed doll that you could carry through the property and he talks to you, telling you where the next bunch of excitement is or certain hidey holes that you might miss.
I haven't been there in years but I always had a blast because I'm a kid at heart. What that state did to my mother really bothered me, so I haven't gone back since to work or play.
The very last time I was there was when a little electronic lock company we were doing business with flew me out there to set up some displays for them to get their hurricane rating. LOL I actually got to fire 2x4's out of an air cannon at my own install that week. We passed but the doors didn't do so well.
I also have my old biz partner who lost everything (millions) in the last storm and is still stuck waiting for money that the insurance company should rightfully owe him. He's already started rebuilding.... in another state.
I sold the St.Pete condo my mom lived in and split the proceeds with her and my sis so I couldn't piss it away. Though now I'm starting to rethink about her little Tenessee acres that I set my eyes on for my retirement after my Florida dreams died. I still have a timeshare in Orlando that goes there but they have a bunch of other places all over the country too.
Kinda pissed that I lost my Michigan place to my ex now but there might be some time to find another :-)
