My buddy is a general contractor back in New York, he had an associate who got a contract to do work at Trump's casino in New Jersey. Everyone thinks he had really made a good connection, his crews did the job, and then had to do even more to satisfy Trump, in the end his company did not get paid. After a couple of years of court, he wins his case, but did not get paid. He was not alone, many small contractors did not get paid. It really hurts when a small company gets stiffed on a construction contact.
