Yep, seven weeks on my insurance isn't involved any more. The post op surgeon visit today is free of charge, as part of his deal. He only charged what Medicare paid him too. No charge from him to me. My only cost has been $300 excess for the rehab place. Insurance covered the rest of that $800/day.

Also the visit to the rehab people at the hospital where the op took place is covered by the arrangement for the op. And any further rehab there all covered by Medicare too.

Your lung cancer stents et al are to me much scarier than my knee thing. What's the big deal about a simple joint, eh. LOL

Yep, thanks, am aware it is considered a major op. Will tell them today, 'you did your job, now i'm doing mine.'

Am eating well, no smoking and rest well as well as can be.

"Lastly, it always pays to treat every day with an extra enjoyment. You have been given a gift to keep on going. Some people do not take operations well, and new complications arise. So be happy with yourself, and smile each day. Life is really precious."

Yep, you have a healthy philosophy too. We are lucky to be in a position where we can manage so much more easier than it would be for many others. ;-)
