I understand why people get their panties in a bunch, especially for the undocumented kids, but I worked from the time I was 12 as well. I was a paper boy, a bus boy, a pizza maker and general cleanup guy too.
I never worked in a meat packing plant and don't want to see what goes on there but I washed a shit ton of wedding dishes so I kind of know.
My father told me to get my own job when Showed him the pair of Nike shoes I wanted, so I did. The rest is still living history.
LOL I was flush with cash when I was 13, buying shit at the mall that is probably in dustbin now. Throwing endless quarters into video games. Having the bus take me anywhere I needed go that was to far for my bike to meet some girl so we could play kissy face.
It sucks to have to grow up.
