Maybe I didn't say it clearly. I meant that unless someone posted to the new alias using his old alias, it's nearly impossible to otherwise discern what the old alias was.
Once, someone else who knew the poster pm'ed me as to who he used to be. Another time, I had an idea who it was because of the way she posted and the boards she posted on where I knew her.
