If Nordic Naturals believed it would be a successful brand, they would be wise to invest in CV Sciences by purchasing and investing enough shares from the Shelf offering and have a 51 percent of the company with the option to acquire CV Sciences in an acquisition by purchasing the remaining shares in the future. Similar to the Constellation Brands and Canopy Growth and the Canopy Growth and The Acreage Holdings acquisition. By purchasing 51 percent stake in CV Sciences, Nordic Naturals is making a long term investment and manufacturing and packaging all of the CV Sciences brands along with the Marketing, sales, and Distribution along with their Brands Worldwide. It will take an investment between 16 to 18 million dollars depending on the reserved shares of the ESOP’s that are still on the books.
