Those are not watts, those are VARs, magnetizing currents for induction motors and other inductive devices. They don't appear on the end user's meter because they're not watts at all.

And it is what PAS is, a variable capacitor bank. Capacitors supply VARs in an AC system. Utilities install passive capacitor banks in switchyards and substations where they need to for voltage support. Where there's a large customer as a primary cause of it, they'll make them pay for it. They've been doing it forever.

Bobs PAS isn't even patented anymore... you think ABB, Siemens, Duke, GE, Emerson engineers haven't ever thought of this? This device was invented 25 years ago in Bobs garage w his brother. No better tech in 25 years? Go Google "Phase Angle Synchronization Patents", tell me what you find.. and then explain why this system is better than all the others. Pretty glad you guys took this off our hands, since it hasn't produced one unit on any grid in 6 years...
