<< [July 18, 2022] The Company expects to immediately begin operations with this contractor producing hundreds of kilograms of spider silk per month and to achieve production levels reaching multiple metric tons of spider silk per month as early as the first quarter of 2023. >>

"Expects".. as in, oops, we expected it, but it never happened. So sorry.

And here is the very next sentence:

" The contractor is in possession of the Company’s specialized eggs and anticipates a 90-day ramp-up for the first deliveries under the contract."

That's all I needed to see.

Not a great track record there.

Most recently, take last year into account.

The Company expects

Therefore, I beg to differ.

If we had production details, then we would know exactly what that number is.

"producing hundreds of kilograms of spider silk per month and to achieve production levels reaching multiple metric tons of spider silk per month as early as the first quarter of 2023. "

Hundreds of Kg's and multiple metric tons. Haven't you seen some speculating that it was 1 Kg? I say at that time it is possible they were at 500KG's in July to reach multiple metric tons. It is all speculation, albeit within the confines of being 200Kg minimum, to at least 2 metric tons minimum, by the end of the 1st quarter 2023. that is as detailed as you could possibly ascertain.

We are forced to apply minimums because we are short on details. Everyone gets to apply their own reasoning, within the above minimums of what was expected. Yet some folks go well below those numbers, possibly to goad Kim into giving us what we all want. Them saying they had the largest one month batch at the end of the 90 days could mean they were below the 200Kg minimum as they missed their targets, but you see the problem. We don't know details or what exactly the target was.

If I knew how many eggs the contractors was getting per week/month/ quarter, then that might improve the chances of defining production numbers. But to date, it is Kim's goal to keep the numbers within the 200KG to 2 metric ton minimums by end of 1st quarter. Because they pushed the time range out to the end of 2023, they may not be expanding current egg numbers. Prodigy will receive the new eggs at some point and have to prepare to transition the new strain, into what they are sending the contractor.

I hope they can refrigerate the current strains eggs, as they transition. They work, but aren't as robust as the new strain. If they have to do what everyone else in the business does, then the current strain is fine for 5 - 7 or 8 months out of the year....per pilot results.
