One of the problems it seems to me is that so few of the individuals responsible for the company crimes go to jail. Where's the real deterrent if one, a relatively few guilty firms get caught. And two, if an even more very, very relatively few of the execs involved ever go to jail for a lengthy spell. I think we read a post here long time ago saying proving "intent" was the tough bit. Can't help but feel the legal bar is too high in so many cases as this one.
