You overlook which Party is obstructionist. I gave you three specific example from 3 Dem presidents who tried with varying degrees of success to help out the middle and working glasses though tax policies and Bills.

You overvalue donations and you overlook what the Dems attempt to do with their power.

You're just regurgitating the GOP propaganda that "both parties are the same" only in another form. You expect the Democrats to be a gatekeeper but vote for Republicans. Then you blame Democrats for not stopping you.

Until recently, both parties had members who would occasionally cross over and compromise with the other side. It didn't change what interests the parties represented or what their main policy positions were. The GOP planting the seed in the 80's and 90's that both parties were the same gave license to working people to vote against their interests. Of course there would be some Democratic politicians that got sucked into voting for some GOP bills because their constituents were buying the GOP propaganda. Sound like you were one of the sheep that got fooled.
