I don't see any pics, but that is what I had. My device was the size of two stacked up toaster pop up pastry. No, I'm not hungry that's just the first size comparison that 'popped' up. I was given 8 days worth of medicine and stopped around the 6th day for some reason. Doc said just use it up because near the end of the week I'm already futzing with the brace. With the shoulder thing you have to wear the shoulder hanger for more than 4 months anyways. At least I remember it that way.

About the importance of not rushing anything in the near months I have a personal experience with that. I opted not to play the next hockey season after getting repaired may/june of that period.
And I wore my rig most the rest of the year, just because I wanted to.

I had two players from my league, both top tier who actually went to the same doc for the same surgery, left and rights, same rehab. We laughed when we discovered each other at rehab, One guy started playing hockey again in august and was back for repairs that same month. The other guy tried to play in september of that year and was back for repairs. I was in final rehab process and saw both guys come in. They asked me how many times have I been back to repair the shoulder after the op. None?

I would go to the games to hang out and cheer on my team as I waited til their august draft to make a final decision to play but already told the coach I won't do that season. They do prelims early august and we know what team we're on by the final draft as they all work together of season to grab people. So I saw the players around December wearing braces while I'm having no problem lifting pints with either arm. The very last time I saw my specialist he said my repaired shoulder is actually stronger than my right bone and tendon wise. Of course through the summer rig time muscles atrophy a bit. He said I healed as good or better than pro guys and girls he's fixed and attributed it to my not pushing the healing process. Pro athletes sometime get pushed do to heal, having contracts and all.
