Largest could mean 1001 grams or 50,000 metric tons or any other nonzero number you want to assign it.

While 50,000 metric tons is a non-zero number and "multiple tons of spider silk," it is grossly a fake unreasonable number. Rein it in substantially. KBLB did give you the upper limit and I hate to see people believe and operate on their own BS.

That is why the assertion is useless.
