Its all cost cutting, the hospitals hire and maintain as few nurses as possible stretching them too thin by carrying too many patients at once.......A lot of high stress jobs in a hospital,,,,,ER, surgical after care, ICU critical care ICU...medication..............and with the shortages, its double shifts and long hrs under high stress....
If you code at night, guess who brings you back, its a nurse.
Pay and benefits too while your at it, their pay was cut during covid when they worked the hardest...
