Got a cousin living in the brooks mountain range, named his daughter Brook,,,, He goes up and down the range (a portion of it) monitoring climate change.....He has to clear his solar panels too....
Social media is the driver for cancel culture, Twitter trending is how media choose what to report and how, politicians too......Like the majority of Americans are on Twitter every day or even care about it and one would think Twitter would be canceled considering musk, pick and choose I guess....But folks were against radio and tv when it first came out....Some day we may learn to use it for something other than preaching to the choir and attacking.....
Like honey and peanut butter too, try it on pancakes ;) Honey is very underrated (and now expensive)...Save the bees!
Trump's conservative party did not have a new policy platform for election 2020. Obviously that party thinking a platform supporting Donald Trump was enough to present to an election should have disqualified itself from calling itself a party worthy of any votes. Yet millions voted for it.
To JP --- not surprised an organization to which Peterson belongs would be critical of his media performances. What sort of a psychologist would have poopooed masks as a covid mitigation policy. Not a responsible one. It well be interesting to see what the Supreme Court says. You'd think it would have to come down to:
"In reality, Peterson has made these public statements while presenting himself as a Clinical Psychologist. This has a very special meaning in Canada. Only members of the College of Psychologists of Ontario may use the title "Psychologist" in Ontario.
As a licensed psychologist, he his granted the power and authority and trust necessary for his profession to function; people are expected to share their deepest and most intimate thoughts and behaviors with a complete stranger. It is Peterson's responsibility to protect this "public trust in and perception of the psychology profession". As a public figure who has chosen to develop a large following he has more responsibility to do so. Accusations are quite rare; the ICRC receives about 25-30 new matters every quarter. This makes a dozen complaints against a member over any period of time quite a lot.
He is being disciplined by the organization which licenses him as a psychologist. To obtain and retain his license he agreed to uphold a code of conduct which includes his public behavior when presenting himself as a psychologist."
the Court supporting the College in whatever decision they arrived at. Unless of course the Court's decision was that the College was being more unreasonable than Peterson is being.
