Don't think i've ever read one of Zack Beauchamp's i didn't appreciate. There is a no-nonsense, just the facts ma'am, decent feel to them. No alarmist crap. No extra flower, They are always nicely plain. Easy to read and always informative. A little aside: Labels as postmodernist et al i'll never get straight and after putting some effort into trying to by the next day it's mostly gone again. Sheesh. just glanced through Zach's to do this and now after finishing here i'll have to have a quick look at his postmodernist mention again.
Yes, Jordan Peterson, as valued as he apparently is in his profession, is no doubt just another right-wing guy cashing in on the fear factor of the groupie audience YouTube has enabled him to reach. Actually though his fearful white men adore him in the larger world he is just another YouTube sensation. Don't recall the particular names just now that prompted that thought. And so for mine for that guy, forget his name but will edit it in after looking again, to ... oh, Brooks, think it was .. to label Peterson as the most influential intellectual in the western world .. yeah David Brooks am sure it was (funny how things flow back in sometimes while typing, though since they say you should keep talking if something you are trying to say is escaping recall so guess it's more science than funny) is his name .. feels wrong as wrong can be. For Peterson to be seen as that important is actually worrying. But who cares. Screw him and his insistent authoritarian nature.
Love the walk on water and the music too. Who says Hell doesn't have something to say.
