zebras are crazy. They look so docile but they have a herd mentality that cannot be broken like a horse is able to be. They keep to themselves and you're right, they fight back if anyone is in their space. I was warned about them on the first day of orientation.

You can get closer to Rhinoceros than you can a zebra.

Humans are most likely to be injured by zebras when trying to feed, pet, or approach these animals in the wild. and in zoos. Zebras can also pose a danger to other animals, including their offspring. While some species have been documented as killing each other, it is generally believed that the main threat from zebras comes from stepping on younger animals.
