Once again, a Democratic President got that done. President Biden will be long remembered for that Infrastructure Bill. Politicians are elected to get something done for the American people.

What else unites every American than driving on the roads or crossing those rivers with bridges that are structurally sound. I crossed that bridge down in Covington, Kentucky, it scared the shit out of me way back in the 1970s, and it still scared me when I crossed it 2022.

McConnell was at the bridge ceremony this morning with President Biden.

McConnell is a weasel, but at least he showed up to take that picture with President Biden. In a year or two when that bridge is finished, probably no one will show up, but at least President Biden can take the credit for getting the funding to get it done.

This is where tax dollars go, or where they should go, I have no problem with politicians who spend money that helps anyone in this area of the country. I might not travel over that bridge very often, but just like a few down here in Chattanooga, I sleep easier knowing the bridge was fixed.

My wife and I had our first date on this bridge, it was made into a walking bridge, and now 17 years later it is being closed for repairs. Bridges get used, and this one was a favorite in Chattanooga.
