So it was ‘multiple metric tons per month’ (not per quarter) but the target was ‘as early as’ and thus an indefinite time to get there. Pretty much covers every possible outcome.
Starting in July, it was supposed to take 3 quarters to reach the multiple metric ton pace. Now the estimate is that it will take 4 quarters to reach that goal. That makes me think they are not expecting much production in Q1. I think Q1 is still partly in the off season for raising silkworms, so that may be the reason.
I’m going to contact Ben tomorrow to get details on the specific meeting time of the 2023 ASM. There is a chance I could get there. Hopefully if multiple people do the same, it might trigger an actual meeting. Frankly with Thompson’s diminished holdings, I think he has to have one.
