I don't agree. On stock boards negative information about a company can and is being removed with only a individual person knowing it. A new person has no idea looking at those boards about the a company's profile. It's harking back to the mod control times of the 2000 era.
As far as political, conspiracy boards it's on free boards as well. And as you probably are aware, in the 10 thousand boards of ihub there are uncountable right and left wing boards masquerading as free stock boards and general boards. There need be no public acknowledgement of mod requests to ban members, there really wasn't before but now the results won't be known at all except by the member effected. But its the post control that is gained by proxy on free and free general boards hidden to the general member public that is concerning.
It's understandable with as many boards and Ihub's policies, which are actually quite sound that it's an immense job to regulate things like this.
And I agree and understand and respect your admin position of allowing freedoms of such on premium boards, however introducing or removing a feature that can introduce abuse by people who always look for ways to do so may not be in ihubs best interests.
This will not be and is not a political or premium issue only, Ihub has given the mods of free and free general boards the potential of controlling information if they chose to do so.
