Yep, Luckovich is pure genius - In his own words: Mike Luckovich’s best of 2020

I've always wondered if there is any chance at all of the vaccines - two and two boosters = four i think. Or five - contributing to my breathlessness and my atrial fibrillation stuff. And am not sure if my stroke came before or after. The first shot i think was around the same time as the gp put me on blood thinners because of the mini-stroke. Even wondered if i had a mild shot of covid before getting the RATs as there were about 4 days of extreme fatigue back then. Guess will never know unless they come up with a test which would tell you if you ever had it. Odds are i didn't, with my lung thing surely it would have been much worse if i'd had any of it before any shots.

Me too on pneumonia. LOL that said guess what is also one the laundry list of side effects of the new puffer a lung specialist put me on ..

* TRELEGY can cause serious side effects, including:

- fungal infection in your mouth or throat (thrush). Rinse your mouth with water without swallowing after using TRELEGY to help reduce your chance of getting thrush.
- pneumonia. People with COPD have a higher chance of getting pneumonia. TRELEGY may increase the chance of getting pneumonia. Call your healthcare provider if you notice any of the following symptoms: change in amount or color of mucus; fever; chills; increased cough; increased breathing problems.
- weakened immune system and increased chance of getting infections.
- reduced adrenal function. This can happen when you stop taking oral corticosteroids and start taking inhaled corticosteroids.
- sudden breathing problems immediately after inhaling TRELEGY. If this happens, stop taking TRELEGY and call your healthcare provider right away.
- serious allergic reactions. Call your healthcare provider or get emergency medical care if you get any of the following symptoms: rash; hives; swelling of your face, mouth, and tongue; breathing problems.
- effects on heart: increased blood pressure; a fast or irregular heartbeat, awareness of heartbeat; chest pain.
- effects on nervous system: tremor; nervousness.
- bone thinning or weakness (osteoporosis).
- eye problems including glaucoma, increased pressure in your eye, cataracts, blurred vision, worsening of narrow-angle glaucoma, or other changes in vision. You should have regular eye exams while using TRELEGY. Acute narrow-angle glaucoma can cause permanent loss of vision if not treated. Symptoms of acute narrow-angle glaucoma may include: eye pain or discomfort; nausea or vomiting; blurred vision; seeing halos or bright colors around lights; red eyes. If you have these symptoms, call your healthcare provider right away before taking another dose.
- new or worse urinary retention. Symptoms may include: difficult, painful, or frequent urination; urination in a weak stream or drips. If you have these symptoms, stop taking TRELEGY and call your healthcare provider right away.
- changes in laboratory blood values, including high levels of blood sugar (hyperglycemia) and low levels of potassium (hypokalemia).
- slowed growth in children.

* Common side effects of TRELEGY 100/62.5/25 mcg for COPD include:
upper respiratory tract infection; pneumonia; bronchitis; thrush in your mouth and throat (rinse your mouth with water without swallowing after use to help prevent this); headache; back pain; joint pain; flu; inflammation of the sinuses; runny nose and sore throat; taste disturbance; constipation; painful and frequent urination (signs of a urinary tract infection); nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea; mouth and throat pain; cough; and hoarseness.

* Common side effects of TRELEGY for asthma include:
runny nose and sore throat; upper respiratory tract infection; bronchitis; respiratory tract infection; inflammation of the sinuses; painful and frequent urination (signs of a urinary tract infection); flu; headache; back pain.

LOL quite a list, eh.

As a lifelong asthmatic and a heavy smoker for a time i've developed some COPD too. Was on Tedral think it was .. https://www.1mg.com/drugs/tedral-24mg-130mg-tablet-277963 .. at age 8?? until puffers arrived on the scene. Quarter of a tablet at first, then graduated to a half. Experimented with one one time and it made my heart beat so fast at 10?? it scared the shit out of me so much i never did it again. Was just tired of being up in the middle of the night and wanted to get back to bed quickly so took a whole one.

Then Ventolin (rapid action), cheaper generic now, and another for long term. Then ended on the V and Pulmicort (longterm .. https://www.webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-19937/pulmicort-inhalation/details .)

Then when the breathless hit suddenly a couple of years ago?? the gp put me on Spiriva .. https://www.spiriva.com/ .. also. So was on three.

The Trelegy takes three active ingredients of the two longer term puffers and puts them in one. The lung guy says research says when the three are combined in one shot they work better.

A few days after starting on the Trelegy i was sick as can be for about four days. So bad almost gave it up. Then felt better and now i think it might be, as the lung guy said it would, working better than the other two. He said to still use Ventolin when needed - hardly do at all now, basically only in morning before the Trelegy shot. In my head it opens the lungs a bit for the Trelegy. He told me to never take the other two while using Trelegy.

It's funny it's meant to fix breathlessness by expanding the vessels in the lungs, guess the bronchi and the bronchioles, yet one of the side effects listed is that it causes breathlessness.

On side effects i'll never forget when i first took Ventolin one of the side effects of long term use was what they called Instant Death. Like lung collapse. So far so good on that one. ;-)

Never had any trouble, as far as i know, with the shingles shot either.

After all the vaccines i've never blame anything on them. Not ever any sickness, or even a sore arm.
