Can I believe we should be getting a return but also believe there are entities who would fight against that and try and claim that return for themselves through nefarious means?

After 14 years of waiting(or 10 years, for that matter) it's no longer of whether how strongly you believe that there are distributions in the future...its whether you would be getting/seeing those distributions in your Account imminently in the Immediate Future...I am completely on the side of Split on this, only I am giving it a little bit more time till Tax Date 2023.

I can see your point but I believe it is more of a, "place the dream on the back burner and keep it there and go on with your life" sort of thing for me. I dont have the hours to debate and repeat lengthy dissertations on why escrows are or are not coming. Certainly I defend anyones' right to do so. That is what this board is about.

If I didnt have cows to feed, barn areas to scrape, limbs to pick up, fields to mow.....I may feel differently. I never say never but after Dec 31 if this is still in the wind...then so are my dreams about anything coming back....thus the back burner. Now for the stock? That's a different story. I have a load of shares and see this becoming a great thing in 1-2 years.

ND, It doesn’t matter what we think about dates. The folks driving this saga probably already have the dates fixed and may be multiple dates. Just that we dont know, yet.
Start of the year ( around that timeframe) works !!!!
But as Bop says on BP, the initial distribution should not be the motivation to sell , for the folks who have some patience
