Pump and dumps go up, then they go back down. The short interest on this stock was consistently about 4% of the O/S for the last few months. That's from the only factual data site, FINRA. You don't squeeze 4% of the O/S.
OTOH, a 10 bagger for a pump and dump isn't unusual, and that's what happened here, the only thing that happened here. Pumpers claimed a short squeeze was coming claiming the PPS would go into triple digits or higher, and some naive investors bought it. Now they've been trapped in a private company that's going nowhere. Con artistry at its finest.
