Justice, You keep your focus on COOP as I like your post. These post about us getting recovery is so freaking old. I have asked people on this board to pick up the phone and call DTC as they are the holding agent...... They just like I, will get the same answer in regards to WMIH.
So when 12/31/2022 passes we are going to get more dates and more wasted time.
How about we focus on who shorted COOP? Why is the company buying back shares and there is ZERO effect on the stock? Why doesn't the company declare a divy on so-called cash?
Who is letting the MMs do the spread game every day and for the first 5 hours and then 2 hours before close the spread tightens...
Seems to me like Atlantic HomeLoans owes the FDIC money and is waiving its ownership of legacy interests in WAMU back to the FDIC in exchange for those debts.
Why would FDIC accept that as payment if nothing is coming back
"FDIC-R has asserted claims against Atlantic related to Atlantic's brokering and/or selling mortgage loans to WaMu (the "Claims"). Atlantic denies liability for the Claims; and The Parties deem it in their best interests to enter into this Agreement to avoid the uncertainty and expense of litigation;" The parties settled and Atlantic waived its rights or interests by virtue of being a shareholder of WMB or its parent company.FDIC wanted the language in the settlement, upon its counsels advise.Read the entire document.
