LOL----reminds me of an email program I would run
back in the early 90's....called bell hell....

Didn't we all go through this with the 'mark me' crowd. This will pass and be accepted like the 'marking' as only the minority of people concerned with monetizing their postings and links will use these kinds of functions.
It really isn't a big deal and easily ignored.
Plus, these items are basically for mobile devices, not us dinosaurs on desktops and laptops that mobile users have greatly ellipsed.
