Ugh.. snow. I see no false equivalence with dust. Useless, makes it hard to get around and needs to be removed. Flurries forecast all week here.

I found your examples a little hard to follow and frankly a little wary of a snow job.

Are you giving examples of what you believe unethical practices?. U know .. using
Sarcasm..

Just got done with todays major chores. Clearing out the driveway and walk just as it's warming up and making the white stuff heavier. Roof raked the roof as ice dams are a thing up here. Under a gorgeous day of cobalt blue sky burning through deep slate gray strudel rolled clouds.

Cleared the back deck and the pigeons and little birds are already jockeying for positions on the feeders before I even vacated the deck. With ol grayass squirrel trying to commandeer the bigger feeder. Birds don't pay any attention to the chipmunks, but those squirrels...

I must have over fifty pigeons hanging out on the power lines wondering if it'll break from the weight.

But bad news for one of the flock, looked out the kitchen window while making coffee yesterday and there was a deceased (well duh..) decapitated pigeon facing me like a splayed out Thanksgiving turkey ready to go in the oven. No tracks that I could see in the light snow and it was very fresh. Figured I'd stay there and see if the predator came back for the unfortunate bird. In the minute it took me to pour the water in the pot and come back to the window, it was gone.
All that was left was one feather and a little red wave stain. I have seen numerous different Hawks come through as well as an Eagle or two. This time it was an airborne enemy. Last time it was a ground attack.

But that's nature and I am in a little sub carved out of natural forests. Saw a black bear at the end of my street at the highway recently, but they usually stay across the highway in the denser woods and river back there. Best thing I ever did was move.
