Sorry was watching my screens, never saw this one coming, but then the stock market kind of does what it does, it is what makes it unpredictable. most days.

Good news scared the shit out of the shorts, so they covered their positions, while cash from the sidelines probably thought they wre missing something.

This entire week has seen the stock market up 700, down 600, up 1000 points, or as I remind my daughter. The stock market is bouncing off its support level, so at least the stock market might have at least have some support.

You have to remember the last administration pumped almost 10 trillion into the American economy, with virtually no production of anything. It was just free money, and much of it ended up in the stock market.

Then the Federal Reserve decided to finally get its balance sheet in order by raising interest rates, cutting off that supply of money. Weak hands always get hurt, smart5 hands step aside and let the stock market even things out.

The economy is still transitioning from a shut down to and open up, and not everything has come back. My old mentor once taught me that businesses have a seven year life span, so many businesses will never come back. The innovative companies find a way to adjust, or even change their business plan. The economy is still strong, because America is vaccinated and back working. So it will take a few years to straighten it out.

Look at China, now their is a country who is ruled by one man, the covid policy sucks, so shut downs happen all of the time, the economy is sputtering, because this one man decided he wanted the government to be in charge and strong enough to put them all under his control.

I would not trust China's economy for anything, and I loved it that they were embracing Capitalism. Now they have stopped.

Once again out system of government and Capitalism working together to achieve the goal of providing opportunities for anyone to come to America, work hard and succeed.

Like Warren Buffet once stated, never bet against America.
