Hillary's comment about deplorables did not refer to Trump supporters in general. She referred specifically to the Klansmen, militia types, QAninnies and general white nationalists. And you know what? There are really no more descriptive words for them.
Hillary Clinton said those three words in the final months of her 2016 presidential campaign, making rhetorical and political history. There were two kinds of Donald Trump supporters, she explained: Voters who feel abandoned and desperate, who she placed in one metaphorical basket, and those she called “racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic and Islamophobic” — her “basket of deplorables.”
The woman in red tko'd Peterson, i thought. he struggled when she said she felt he was arguing against himsself in saying the dems were too worried about offending while at the same time saying they were being too divisive in telling some Trump supporters what they thought of them. And he said the divisiveness over the presidency had nothing to do with Trump. Wha??
yep, Obama thoughts there were spot on. "Listening to Jordan Peterson a bit lately who seems to be riding the razors edge.. "
Llisten to what he says here about men. About 1.11
He obviously feels he has something to say, but...
As the lady in red would definitely say again, his general denigration of men who don't dress in his 'dandy' style is definitely at odds with his somewhat pious feeling position of "if you can't say anything niece then don't say anything at all." Qualification: That was a favorite saying of Dad's. Hated it after a while.
And i don't agree with Peterson's video comment there on "cancel culture" and " identity politics." He sounds conservative as hell on those two. I agree more with the vies expressed around these:
[...] On the right, “woke” — like its cousin “canceled” — bespeaks “political correctness” gone awry, and the term itself is usually used sarcastically. At the Republican National Convention in August, right-wing Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) scolded “woketopians,” grouping them together with socialists and Biden supporters, as though the definition of a “woketopian” was self-evident. [...] So i'll adjust to saying i wouldn't be surprised if - even if only subconsciously - some rabid conservatives cherish the word "woke" because it originally represented a caring comfort zone for the black community. So to use it negatively now may give then a warm fuzzy arrogance of racial superiority. The unexpected relationship between U.S. evangelicals and Russian Orthodox "Despite porn stars and Playboy models, white evangelicals aren’t rejecting Trump. This is why." Didn't find the one i was looking for on identity politics. Oh well, toss in
How a Conservative Activist Invented the Conflict Over Critical Race Theory Thanks. You saved me chasing those videos. I never heard of that Rufo dude before, yet seems he's a key - even the KEY - player in the present political outrage around CRT. P - To Christopher Rufo, a term for a school of legal scholarship looked like the perfect weapon. https://investorshub.advfn.com/boards/read_msg.aspx?message_id=164563458
Keep forgetting that dick's name.
That said and felt, i don't know Jordan Peterson. For now will leave it at, he doesn't attract. I get the feeling he's more of a wannabe bigger celebrity guy than much else.
