But on another note, this board is a open book in a way and people on this website do have a free 'privilege' and not a right to post as well as this is a private site and doesn't dictate free speech as such. So both sides are read.
However, we also have a privilege to 'ignore' people where pm's and posts are invisible except when another response to them, plus with the board numbers now gone, we won't even know they're posting. When ignored, they disappear from public view.
When a troll loses the attention, they crawl back under the slime. The trick is not getting triggered, which I'm also guilty of and it sometimes isn't easy, but now I'm only seeing their shit mostly by accident. If you can't see it, it doesn't bother you.
And we know trying to be civil just eggs them on and substantiated information isn't why they are here. We need to be united in ignoring the trash. Yes, I know some days it could get boring not wordsmithing a troll into the dirt, but there's not much else members can do. Every time they post the vile bile it gets spread around some more. Regular people shouldn't be inadvertently helping the shitheads.
