The way i read that was that he's talking about Biden, Pelosi and the more pragmatic Democrats vs the damaging title "defund the police" group. Just saying it the way it is. He'd likely aware of criticism he could attract if he didn't mention things some see Dems should deal with too. You know they aren't perfect so he's touched on that too. Like in the review of Greta's book i posted earlier the reviewer thought her book didn't deal enough with decarbonisation energy options. His comment on the Democrats doesn't take away at all from what he said about Republicans.
