That could well be true, the political outcome of what is to come. I have a more ecological outlook... more energy to the oceans, then more water vapor delivered to land masses. Like most all things in nature, there are winners and losers when there is selective pressure.

Climate turbulence will be very hard on humans. We adapt to most anything but this might be tough as the winners will probably not be lined up with present geographic lines.

The mass extinction event now going will leave many open niches, however, we have artificially translocated species all over the planet, so there is more available germ plasm for new hybridization, but the loss of millenia of adaptational species will take an incredible amount of geologic time to overcome.
