They charge you to park too which sucks, but it pays our salary. Awhile back, Mondays used to always be free so that's when I used to go but it changed when CZS took over.
I was always a member and even sponsored some animals but now I get to go for free :-)
We are getting ready to upgrade the dolphin house after we put the winter lights up. I'm still just minding my p's and q's for now just taking it all in and meeting my bosses. Just doing what I'm told and step on no toes. After winter that will most likely change but I need to hit the six month mark first before I start chiming in or asking for other details.
I still enjoy it. It's light work that I can do for now because I still haven't completely healed from my last injury and I don't want to push it until I feel confident that I'm ready. I also never disclosed to them my head and surgically repaired shoulder problems and my doctors recommendations so I'm just taking it a day at a time and playing stupid. I still get to do my work on doors because of my background and obvious knowledge so that's cool for now but eventually I want to do more and get back in the air again, even though I'm not supposed to.
Fuck it, I'm only gonna live once and it's cool working in a place that I loved since I was a child instead of being on the road and wondering what the next job site would bring me. I get a happy vibe listening to all the animals waking up in the morning and it helps me to get through the day.
